The Sudanese National Academy of Sciences has appealed to the solidarity of global science community, as conflicts are threatening an entire generation of scientists and researchers - struggling to keep working on pressing issues, as many fled the violence in safer parts of the country or abroad.

Promoting Free and Responsible Science: Insights from the ISC Mid-term Meeting

On 10 – 12 May, the International Science Council held its Mid-term Meeting of Members, the first all-member event since its creation in 2018, under the theme “Capitalizing on Synergies in Science”. In a session dedicated to Freedom and Responsibility in Science, Members discussed ways to promote and safeguard the free and responsible practice of science.
