From 7-10 May 2024, members of the Global Young Academy (GYA) – distinguished early- to mid-career scientists (ECRs) and scholars from around the world will convene in Washington, D.C., to ignite interdisciplinary projects, induct 45 new GYA members, elect new leadership, and discuss the organisation’s strategic direction.
Together with the meeting’s hosts, the New Voices in Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NVs), the GYA will hold an International Conference of Young Scientists on the topic “Transformative and Inclusive Science for a Sustainable Future”, from 8-9 May 2024 and bring together 150+ young scientists from more than 70 countries to engage with U.S.-based social science and STEM leaders.
The AGM and Conference are supported by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. All Conference events and workshops will be held at the National Academy of Sciences Building on 2101 Constitution Avenue, Washington, D.C.
