The ISC Working Group on Constitutional Revision was tasked at the end of 2022 with advising the ISC Governing Board on the revision of the ISC Statutes and Rules of Procedure. The Working Group, with the support of the ISC Secretariat, produced a discussion paper for the Midterm Meeting of ISC Members in Paris on 10–12 May, and – based on feedback from Members at this meeting – developed a ‘zero draft’ of new statutes as well as a discussion document on membership categories for the next round of discussion.

Two consultation meetings were held on 26 and 27 September for discussion and debate around the documents above, particularly on the issues of governance and membership. An additional consultation on the issue of transition will follow in October. The content of the two meetings in September were the same, but were facilitated twice to accommodate all time zones. All staff members, office bearers and representatives of ISC Members and ISC Affiliated Bodies were invited to attend.
