During this information and exchange session the ISC Regional Focal Point for Asia and the Pacific (ISC RFP-AP) hosted by the Australian Academy of Science was joined by members of the ISC secretariat to present key developments regarding the ISC’s work at the global science-policy interface and the ISC RFP-AP’s work to ensure the unique needs and priorities of the region are integrated into the global scientific dialogue. It also provided an opportunity to discuss priorities and upcoming opportunities for membership engagement in 2024. The session aimed to identify opportunities for ISC Members to engage with the Regional Focal Point in policy-related activities, and answer questions Members may have.
All staff members, office bearers and representatives of ISC Member organizations and Affiliated Bodies were invited to attend, while the meeting was particularly targeted at ISC Members and Affiliated Bodies that are active in the Asia-Pacific region.
